Mediation NI is delighted to announce that the Board has appointed Enda Young to lead the organisation as Managing Director.

Enda joins us from the William J Clinton Leadership Institute at Queen’s University Belfast and brings a wealth of experience in the fields of mediation, negotiation and conflict resolution. He will be developing the organisation to ensure that MNI fulfils its mission to support parties dealing with change, contention, conflict and difference.

Welcoming Enda to MNI, co-chairs of the Board of Trustees Dr Catherine Turner and Rosie Timoney commented

“We are delighted to be able to welcome Enda to the role of Director. Enda represents a bridge between the past and the future of the organisation. He brings not only a wealth of experience but great creative energy to the role, and we look forward to working with him to shape the next chapter of MNI’s story.”

The Board extends its sincere thanks to Laurie Randall for her skillful and dedicated stewardship of Mediation NI during her time as interim Director.

Enda says,

“I’m delighted to take up the role as Managing Director of Mediation Northern Ireland. I first attended a mediation training course with the organisation 20 years ago and it changed the entire direction of my career. It’s an incredible honour to now be able to help lead the organisation into its next phase of development. I hope to connect with the public, private and voluntary sectors, and ensure MediationNI continues to grow as a focal point for best practice in conflict resolution in this part of the world.”

Enda will take up the appointment in September 2022.
